TOPIC: Audio-In

Audio-In 8 years, 8 months ago #75

I was trying to route the audio from my laptop via the sound card to Reeti (Audio-In) and play something from my laptop and have the sound outputted through the Reeti's speakers!

The problem is I can not hear anything from reeti's speakers! However, The "Analog-in" tab in "Sound" setting of the Ubuntu on Reeti, shows me that I'm perfectly getting signals! I checked every single detail to figure out what is the problem including:

- used different audio sources
- used different audio cables
- checked audio settings on my laptop
- checked audio settings on Reeti (both output and input)

Please let me know if you know how to solve this issue!

PS. Both Speakers are working fine when I'm locally playing something on Reeti.

I never tried to do that but I would say that you need to run a software that will acquire the line in and redirect it to the speakers.
I think you can use vlc or ffmpeg to do it.

Maybe that post (superuser.com/questions/20386/audio-line...on-ubuntu-linux-mint) can also help. (but I did not test it).

Let us know if you have it works.
